شحى شَحى فلانٌ فاه شَحْياً. وشحى فُوْه. واللِّجَامُ يَشْحى فَمَ الفَرَسِ شَحْياً. وأقْبَلَتِ الإبلُ شَوَاحِيَ وشاحِيَاتٍ: أي فاتِحَاتٍ أفْوَاهَها.

K to be a
dial. var. of شَحَا,
