[شحم] الشَحْمُ معروف، والشَحْمَةُ أخصُّ منه. وشَحْمَةُ الأرض: الكمأة البيضاء. وشَحْمَةُ الأذن: مُعَلَّقُ القُرط. ورجلٌ مُشْحِمٌ: كثير الشَحْمِ في بيته. وشَحِيمٌ، أي سمين. وقد شَحُمَ بالضم. وشَحَمَ بالفتح فلانٌ أصحابَه: أطعمهم الشَحْمَ فهو شاحِمٌ. وشَحَّامٌ يبيعه، وشَحِمٌ يشتهيه. وقد شَحِمَ بالكسر.
