سِيسَنْبَر: (باليونانية سوسنبوبون): نعناع بري (ابن البيطار 2: 72، ابن العوام 2: 285) وانظر (بابن سميث 1508).
سيسنبر: هو زنجبيل عند البعض وبرنجاسف وحبق الراعي عند آخرين (شيرب في الجريدة الاسيوية 1850، 1: 395).
