بعد السين الثانية قاف، وآخره نون: قرية على أربعة فراسخ من مرو عند الرمل على طرف البرية، ينسب إليها طلحة بن محمد بن أحمد بن أبي غانم بن خير السوسقاني، سمع أبا الفضل محمد بن عبد الرزاق الماخواني، مات سنة 527.
