سَنْدَلُوس:
صْفُر مصفّح لامع، وهو صفيحة من الصفر رقيق أملس لامع، له من بعد لمعان الذهب (ألكالا) وزينة من الصفر المصفح اللامع (ألكالا). وهذه في الحقيقة نفس كلمة سندال بمعنى صفيحة من المعدن رقيقة.
سَنْدَلُوسيّ: طارق الذهب أو الفضة (ألكالا، اسكولانو تاريخ بلنسية 1: 82).
