سَمَرْطُولُ:
بفتح أوّله وثانيه، وسكون الراء: وهو جبل أو موضع جاء في الشعر، وهو أحد الأبنية التي فاتت كتاب سيبويه، وقيل: لعلّه سمرطول بوزن عضرفوط فخلط الشاعر لإقامة الوزن.
