سَافَ (ي)(n. ac. سَيْف)
a. Struck, smote, wounded with the sword.
b. Was cracked, chapped.

سَاْيَفَa. Fought with; fenced with.

أَسْيَفَa. Pierced, bored.

b. Put to the sword, slew, slaughtered.
