سهب: سَهَّب ومصدره تسهيب معناه: إسهاب أي كثرة الكلام وإطالته (كرتاس ص3).
أسهب: جاء في القسم الأول من معجم فوك بمعنى اختصر الكلام وهو خطأ لأن معنى هذا الفعل ضد هذا تماماً.
