سَمَدَ(n. ac. سُمُوْد)
a. Raised, tossed his head.
b. Was confused, perplexed, bewildered; was amazed
confounded.
c. Amused himself; sported, played.
d. [Fī], Applied himself to, laboured, toiled at.

سَمَّدَa. Manured (land).
b. Shaved off (hair).
إِسْمَدَّإِسْمَاْدَّa. Swelled with rage.

سَاْمِدa. Heedless.

سَمَاْدa. Dung mixed with ashes.
