سَلُطَ(n. ac. سَلَاْطَة)
a. Was hard, unyielding; was despotic, imperious
domineering; was absolute, supreme.
b. Was a ready speaker, was fluent; was glib of tongue;
was sarcastic, caustic; was clamorous, long-tongued.

سَلَّطَa. [acc. & 'Ala], Rendered master of; gave the mastery over.

تَسَلَّطَ
a. [Ala], Overcame, prevailed over; mastered, subdued;
became master of.
سَلْطa. Hard, strong; unyielding, unbending.
