: (الإِسْفاناخُ) ، بِالْكَسْرِ: (نَبَاتٌ م) أَي مَعْرُوف، وَهُوَ (مُعرّب) ، وَمن خواصّه أَنّه (فِيهِ قُوَّةٌ جاليَةٌ غَسَّالةٌ يَنفَع الصَّدرَ والظَّهْر) وَهُوَ (مُلَيِّن) .
