سَعَى(n. ac. سَعْي)
a. Went along; walked; hastened, ran.
b. [Ila], Went, repaired, betook himself to.
c. [Fī], Worked, laboured; busied himself about.
d. [La], Worked for; applied himself to, busied himself
with.
e.(n. ac. سِعَاْيَة), Collected the poor-rate.
f. [Bi & Ila], Calumniated, slandered .... to; libelled to;
