(س) فِي حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ «لَا يَذْهَبُ أمرُ هَذِهِ الأمَّة إلاَّ عَلى رَجُل واسِع السُّرْمِ ضَخْم البُلعُوم» السُّرْمُ: الدُّبُر، والبُلعُوم: الْحَلْقُ، يُريد رجُلا عَظِيمًا شَدِيدًا.
وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُهُمْ إِذَا اسْتَعْظَمُوا الأمرَ واستصْغَروا فاعِلَه «إِنَّمَا يَفْعَلُ هَذَا مَنْ هُو أوسَع سُرْماً مِنْكَ» ويجوزُ أَنْ يُريدَ بِهِ أَنَّهُ كَثِيرُ التَّبذير والإسْرَاف فِي الأمْوال والدِّماء، فوصَفه بسَعَة المَدْخَل والمخْرج.
