سدج: سدج تصحيف سادج أو ساذج ففي ألف ليلة (برسل 2: 143): أخذت معي ألف إزار سدج. سَدَاجة: سذاجة، بساطة، سلامة خلوص النية (بوشر).
سَدَّاجَة: تصحيف سَجَّادة وهي طنفسة يصلى عليها (محيط المحيط) سادج: فطير، غير مختمر. ففي المعجم اللاتيني - العربي azimus فَطِيز سادِجَ.
سادج: مرادف باطل (باين سميث 1043).

(سَدَجَ) السِّينُ وَالدَّالُ وَالْجِيمُ، يَقُولُونَ إِنَّ الْمُسْتَعْمَلَ مِنْهُ حَرْفٌ وَاحِدٌ، وَهُوَ التَّسَدُّجُ، يُقَالُ [رَجُلٌ] سَدَّاجٌ، إِذَا قَالَ الْأَبَاطِيلَ وَأَلَّفَهَا.
