(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ الْمَوْلِدِ «وَلَا تضُرُّوه فِي يقَظَة وَلَا مَنَامٍ سَجِيسَ اللَّيَالِي وَالْأَيَّامِ» أَيْ أَبَدًا. يُقَالُ لَا آتِيك سَجِيسَ اللَّيَالِي: أَيْ آخِرَ الدَّهْر. وَمِنْهُ قِيلَ لِلْمَاءِ الرَّاكِدِ سَجِيسٌ؛ لِأَنَّهُ آخِرُ مَا يَبْقى.
