س ت ذ : الْأُسْتَاذُ كَلِمَةٌ أَعْجَمِيَّةٌ وَمَعْنَاهَا الْمَاهِرُ بِالشَّيْءِ وَإِنَّمَا قِيلَ أَعْجَمِيَّةٌ لِأَنَّ السِّينَ وَالذَّالَ الْمُعْجَمَةَ لَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي كَلِمَةٍ عَرَبِيَّةٍ وَهَمْزَتُهُ مَضْمُومَةٌ.
