سَبَقَ(n. ac.
سَبْق)
a. Outstripped; anticipated; preceded, had the
precedence.

سَبَّقَa. Brought forth before her time, miscarried (
sheep ).
b. Received the stakes; gave a stake to.

سَاْبَقَa. VI, Tried to outstrip, raced with.

إِنْسَبَقَa. Spoke hastily, without reflecting; was not master of
himself.

إِسْتَبَقَa. see IIIb. [Ila], Hastened to, strove to get to first; came upon
unexpectedly (event).
سَبْقa. Precedence.
