زِيرّ باج: تعني بالفارسية قصعة كمون، غير أنها تعني في أيامنا هذه (القرن الثالث عشر) طعاماً يتخذ من السكر واللوز والخل (معجم المنصوري)، وعند ابن الجوزي (ص45 ق): زيرباجة، كما في ألف ليلة (1: 217، 224)، وانظر طبعة برسلاو (2: 180).
