زمك

زَمَكَ(n. ac. زَمْك)
a. [acc. & 'Ala], Irritated, roused, incited against.
b. Filled.

زَمَّكَa. Was tight (clothing).
زَمَكa. Anger.

زَمَكَةa. Angry, choleric.
b. Stupid.
c. Short.

زمك: زَمَّك (بالتشديد): رصَّع (مملوك 2، 2: 307).
زَمَّك الثوب: ضيقه بحيث يملأ اللبس فلا يبقى منه فراغ (محيط المحيط).
زَمْك، ثوب، زمك: ما كان على قدر الجسم ليس فيه زيادة عنه في السعة (محيط المحيط).
زِمِكّ: يستعمل مثلاً في القصر، يقال فلان طول الزمك (محيط المحيط).
زمكة = زِمِكّ (عند لين) (المقري 2: 254).
مَزْمُوك: مسرع، مستعجل (رولاند).

زمك
الزِّمِكّى: أصْلُ الذنَب، وقيل: الذنَبُ نَفْسُه إذا قَصُرَ. وازْمَأك - لُغَة في اصْمَأك -: إذا غَضِبَ، وهو مُزْمَئكٌّ.
وزَمَكَ بينهمِ: أغْرى بينهم.
والزَّمَك: الغضَبُ. وزَمِكَ فلان: حُرِّشَ.
ورَجُل زَمَكَةٌ: عَجِلٌ سَرِيْعُ الغَضَب. وقيل: هو القَصِيْرُ. والأحْمَقُ أيضاً، وجَمْعُه زَمَكُون. وزَمَكَ القِرْبَةَ: مَلأها. وزَمَكَ يَزْمُكُ: سَكَتَ. والزَّمَكُ: تَدَاخُلُ الشَيْء بَعْضِه في بَعْض. ومنه الزِّمِكّى.

زِمِكَّى, (Fr, S, K,) with kesr to the ز and م, (K,) like زِمِجَّى [in measure and in meaning, app. from the Pers\. زِمْجِى], (S,) [in the O erroneously written زِمَكَّى,] and ↓ زِمِكٌّ, (Fr, K, TA,) like فِلِزٌّ, (TA,) [in the O erroneously written زِمَكّ, and in the CK زَمَك,] and ↓ زِمِكّآءُ, (TA,) The place of the growth of the tail of a bird: (Fr, S, K:) or the root of the tail of a bird: (M, K:) or the whole tail of a bird: (K:) or sometimes, accord. to Lth, the tail itself is called زمكّى when it is short (إِذَا قَصُرَ), (O, TA, *) or, as in some copies [of his book, meaning the 'Eyn], when it is clipped (اذا قُصَّ). زَمْك
