زَابُل:
هي التي قبلها بعينها، وقد جاء ذكرها في السير، وفتح عبد الرحمن بن سمرة بن حبيب زابل بعهد، وكان محمد بن سيرين يكره سبي زابل ويقول: إن عثمان بن عفّان ولث عليهم ولثا، أي عقد عقدا، وهو دون العهد.
