(زَيَلَ)
(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ذَكَرَ المَهْدِى فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ أَزْيَلُ الفَخِذِين» أَيْ مُنْفَرِجُهما، وَهُوَ الزَّيَلُ والتَّزَيُّلُ.
(هـ) وَفِي بَعْضِ الْأَحَادِيثِ «خَالِطوا النَّاسَ وزَايِلُوهُمْ» أَيْ فارِقُوهم فِي الأفْعَال الَّتِي لَا تُرْضى اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ.

(زَيُلَ) الزَّاءُ وَالْيَاءُ وَاللَّامُ لَيْسَ أَصْلًا، لَكِنَّ الْيَاءَ فِيهِ مُبْدَلَةٌ مِنْ وَاوٍ، وَقَدْ مَضَى ذِكْرُهُ، وَذَكَرْتُ هُنَالِكَ كَلِمَاتِ اللَّفْظِ. فَالتَّزَايُلُ: التَّبَايُنُ. يُقَالُ زَيَّلْتُ بَيْنَهُ، أَيْ فَرَّقْتُ، قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {فَزَيَّلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ} [يونس: 28] وَيُقَالُ إِنَّ الزَّيَلَ تَبَاعُدُ مَا بَيْنَ الْفَخِذَيْنِ، كَالْفَحَجِ. وَذُكِرَ عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ إِنْ كَانَ صَحِيحًا تَزَايَلَ فُلَانٌ عَنْ فُلَانٍ، إِذَا احْتَشَمَهُ. وَهُوَ ذَاكَ الْقِيَاسُ إِنْ صَحَّ.
