زَنْكٌ: جَدُّ جَدِّ أحمدَ بنِ أحمدَ المُحَدِّثُ.
والزَّنَكَتانِ، محرَّكةً: الرِّيكتانِ.
والزَّوَنَّكُ، كعَمَلَّسٍ: الزَّوَنْزَكُ، أو الرافِعُ نَفْسَهُ فَوْقَ قَدْرِها، الناظِرُ في عِطْفَيْهِ يَرَى أنَّ عنْدَهُ خَيْراً وليس كذلك.
والزانِكِيُّ، بكسر النونِ: الشَّاطِرُ.
