زلب: رأَيت في أَصل من أُصول الصحاح، مقروءٍ على الشيخ أَبي محمد بن بري، رحمه اللّه: زَلِبَ الصَّبـيُّ بأُمه، يَزْلَبُ زلَـباً: لَزِمَها ولم يُفارِقْها، عن الجرشي: الليث: ازْدَلَبَ في معنى اسْتَلَبَ، قال: وهي لغة رَدِيَّةٌ.
