الإِزْرَاءُ: التَهَاوُنُ، أزْرى به. وزَرى به يَزْري: أي عابَهُ، وهو زَارٍ عليه وبه؛ زَرَيَاناً وزَرْياً ومَزْرِيَةً. وإنَه لَمُزْرٍ إلى غِنى: أي مُتَكِئٌ عليه. وأزْرئ إلى كذا: أي لَجَأ إليه.
