الأزهري: سرطَ اللقمة وزرِطها وزَردهاَ: إذا ابتلعها.
والسراطُ والزّراطُ: الطريقُ، وقرأ حمزة بن حبيبٍ في روايةِ الفراء عنه وعن الكسائيّ في رواية عبد الله بن ذكوْان عنه وعن عاصمٍ في روية مجالد بن سعيدٍ عنه اهدْنا الزّراط المسْتَقيمَ؛ بالزّاي الخالصةِ الصافيةِ من غير إشمام.
