والزَّرْدَمَةُ: الغَلْصَمَةُ، وقيل: هي فارسية، وقيل: الزَّرْدَمَهُ من الإنسان

تحت الحلقوم واللسانُ مركّب فيها، وقيل: الزَّرْدَمَةُ الابتلاع،

والازدرام الابتلاعُ.
