رُصافَة نيسابور:
ذكر عبيد الله بن أحمد بن أبي طاهر في تاريخه قال: قال عبد العزيز بن سليمان: لما ولدت كتب أبي إلى عبد الله بن أحمد بن طاهر يخبره بمولدي وأنّه قد أخّر تسميتي إلى أن يختار لي الأمير الاسم، فكتب إليه: إنّي قد سميته عبد العزيز وقد أقطعته الرصافة ضيعة بنيسابور، فلم يزل التوقيع عند أبي، رحمه الله، ذكر ذلك في أخبار سنة 296.
