حصن باليمن من ناحية أبين، وفي كتاب ابن الحائك: ملحان بن عوف بن عدل بن مالك بن سدد بن حمير وإليه ينسب جبل ملحان المطلّ على تهامة والهجم، واسم الجبل ريشان.
