رهو
وَاتْرُكِ الْبَحْرَ رَهْواً
[الدخان/ 24] ، أي:
ساكنا، وقيل: سعة من الطّريق، وهو الصحيح، ومنه: الرَّهَاءُ للمفازة المستوية، ويقال لكلّ جوبة مستوية يجتمع فيها الماء رهو، ومنه قيل: «لا شفعة في رَهْوٍ» ، ونظر أعرابيّ إلى بعير فالج فقال: رَهْوٌ بين سنامين .
