دَجاجَةٌ رَقْطاءُ: مُبَرْقَشَةٌ. والأرْقَطُ: النمِرُ.
وارْقاطَّ العَرْفَجُ: إذا مُطِرَ فَلانَ عُوْدُه واسْوَدَّ شَيْئاً. والرُّقَطُ: العُرُّ يأخُذُ البَعِيرَ مِثْلَ القُوباء فَيَهْلَسُ منه. ونَعْجَةٌ رَقْطاءُ: فيها بَيَاضٌ وسَوَاد.
