رغف: رَغِيفة وجمعها رغائف، وردت في معجم فوك وكذلك أَرْغَف: قطيفة، فطيرة ذات حشو. وفي مينهو وخاصة في ابورتو وفي براجا أطلق اسم الرغيفة على خبز أبيض في شكل الحلقة (معجم الإسبانية ص330) وأضف إلى ذلك كتاب أبي الوليد (ص786). رغيفة: دعوة للعشاء (ألكالا).

(رَغَفَ) الرَّاءُ وَالْغَيْنُ وَالْفَاءُ كَلِمَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ. فَالرَّغِيفُ مَعْرُوفٌ، وَيُجْمَعُ عَلَى الرُّغْفَانِ وَالْأَرْغِفَةِ وَالرُّغُفِ. قَالَ:

إِنَّ الشِّوَاءَ وَالنَّشِيلَ وَالرُّغُفْ

وَهَهُنَا كَلِمَةٌ أُخْرَى إِنْ صَحَّتْ. زَعَمُوا أَنَّ الْإِرْغَافَ: تَحْدِيدُ النَّظَرِ.
