a. Thundered.
b. [Ala], Thundered against; frightened, terrified; menaced
threatened.
أَرْعَدَa. see I (b)b. Was struck by a thunder-bolt.
c. [pass.], Was thunderstruck; was frightened, terrified.

إِرْتَعَدَa. Trembled, shook; was frightened, agitated.

رَعْد

a. Thunder; thunderclap, peal of thunder.

رِعْدَةa. Trembling, tremor, shaking; fear, fright
terror.
