دَيْ دَيْ: ما كان للناسِ حُداءٌ، فَضَرَبَ أعْرابِيٌّ غُلامَهُ، وعَضَّ أصابِعَهُ، فَمَشَى وهو يقولُ: دَيْ دَيْ، أرادَ: يا يَدَيْ، فَسارَت الإِبِلُ على صَوْتِهِ، فقال له: الْزمْهُ، وخَلَعَ عليه، فهذا أصْلُ الحُداءِ.
