كأنه نسبة إلى الدّيلم أو جمعه بلغة الفرس: من قرى أصبهان بناحية خرجان، ينسب إليها أبو محمد عبد الله بن إسحاق بن يوسف الدّيلماني، روى عن أبيه، روى عنه أبو عمرو بن حكيم المدني.
