دَفْعُ الطبيعةِ: كَون الْكَوْكَب فِي برج لَهُ فِيهِ مراغمة، واتصاله بآخر لَهُ أَيْضا فِي ذَلِك البرج، وَقيل: اتِّصَال كَوْكَب نهاري بآخر نهاري، وهما فِي مَكَان النَّهَار وَبِالْعَكْسِ.دَفْع التَّدْبِير: هُوَ الِاتِّصَال إِلَى أَي جِهَة كَانَت.
