دَثِينٌ:
بفتح أوله، وكسر ثانيه، وياء مثناة من تحت، وآخره نون: اسم جبل، يقال: دثّن الطائر تدثينا
إذا طار وأسرع السقوط في مواضع متقاربة، قال القتال الكلابي:
سقى الله ما بين الشّطون وغمرة ... وبئر دريرات وهضب دثين
