من أرض هجر، قال الجعدي:
تدارك عمران بن مرّة سعيهم ... بدارة أهوى، والخوالج تخلج
عن ثعلب: أهوى بفتح الهمزة وكسرها في قول الراعي:
تهانفت، واستبكاك رسم المنازل ... بدارة أهوى، أو بسوقة حائل
وقال: أهوى ماء لبني قتيبة الباهليين.
