المُقْدِمُ من الناس والإِبل. والدِّلْهاثُ: الأَسَدُ. قال أَبو منصور:

كأَنَّ أَصله من الاندلاث، وهو التَّقَدُّم، فزيدت الهاء؛ وقيل: الدِّلْهاثُ

السريع المُتَقَدِّم.
