دَقِعَ(n. ac. دَقَع)
a. Clave to the dust; was reduced to misery, brought
low.
b. Was seated in the dust.

أَدْقَعَa. Reduced to misery, made to cleave to the dust.

دَقِعa. One content with the smallest means of gain;
grovelling.

أَدْقَعُa. Hunger, starvation.
