ذكرها صاحب محيط المحيط في مادة خَرّاقة (لزقة منفطة) ويظهر أن معناها تفتة، لأنه يقول: والحراقة لزقة تعمل من الدرنوخ وتلصق على الجلد فتنفطه. وهو في مادة الذباب الهندي (انظر الكلمة) يكتب درنوح بالحاء.
