خَيْسَقٌ:
بفتح أوله، وسكون ثانيه، وسين مهملة، وآخره قاف: اسم لابة أي حرّة معروفة، وبئر خيسق: بعيدة القعر، وفي كتاب العين: ناقة خسوق سيئة الخلق تخسق الأرض بمناسمها إذا مشت انقلب منسمها فخدّ في الأرض.
