فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ «فَأَخَذَ مِنْ خِثْيِ الْإِبِلِ فَفَتَّهُ» أَيْ رَوْثها. وأصْل الْخثْيِ للبقِر فَاسْتَعَارَهُ لِلْإِبِلِ.
