[خوق] الخوق: الحلقة . قال الراجز : كان خوق قرطها المعقوب على دباة أو على يعسوب والخوق بالتحريك: مصدر قولك: مفازة خوقاء. وبئرخوقاء، أي واسعةٌ. والخَوَقُ: الجربُ، عن الأمويّ. يقال: بعيرٌ أَخْوَقُ وناقةٌ خوقاء، أي جرباء. والخاق باق: اسم الفرج، لخوقها أي سعتها ، وهو مبنيٌّ على الكسر، مثل الخاز باز.
