خَلَى(n. ac. خَلْي [ ])
a. Cut (herbage); cut fodder for ( the
cattle ).
b. Put firewood under ( the cooking pot ).
c. [acc. & Fī], Put into ( a sack : barley ).
d. Put the bit in the mouth of ( the horse ).

خَاْلَيَa. Deceived.

أَخْلَيَa. Abounded in herbage.

إِنْخَلَيَa. Was cut (herbage).
خَلًى (pl.
أَخْلَآء [] )
a. Fresh herbage, grass.

مِخْلًى []
a. Scythe.

مِخْلَاة [] (pl.
