خرفن وتخرفن: ذكرتا في معجم فوك في مادة لاتينية معناها صار أحمق غبياً وتصرف بحماقة. وهما مأخوذتان من الفعل خرف أو بالأحرى من الصفة خرفان.
مُخَرْفن: أحمق (فوك، الكالا).
