خرعب: الخُرْعُوبة : القطعةُ من القَرْعة والقِثّاء والشَّحْم. الخَرْعَبَةُ: الشَّابةُ الحسَنةُ القوام، وكأنَّها خُرعُوبةٌ من خَراعيب الأغصان من بَنات سَنَنها. ويقال: جَمَل خُرْعُوب أيْ طويلٌ في حُسْن خلق.
