- فِي كِتَابِ عُمر إِلَى أَبِي عُبَيدة «أَنْ لَا يُمْضِيَ أمْرَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بَعيدُ الغِرّة حَصِيف العُقْدة» الحَصِيف: المحْكَم العَقْل. وإِحْصَاف الْأَمْرِ: إِحْكَامُهُ. وَيُرِيدُ بِالْعُقْدَةِ هَاهُنَا الرَّأيَ والتَدبير.
