حَشْكَريشة: (من اليونانية اسكريس): قشرة، قرص دموي يتكون على الجلد نتيجة تجفف السائل المترشح فوقه. ففي معجم المنصوري: هي القشور التي تكون على حَرْق النار والقروح الحادة الخِلط (ابن البيطار 1: 6، 15، 2: 66) وهي بالخاء أيضاً (باين سميث 1029، 1030).
