[حيف] نه فيه: حتى لا يطمع شريف في "حيفك" أي في ميلك معه لشرفه، والحيف الظلم والجور. ط: أن "يحيف" الله ورسوله عليك، يعني ظننت أني ظلمتك بجعل نوبتك لغيرك، وذا مناف لمنصب الرسالة، فذكر الله تمهيد قوله: إني ظننت، إطناب، إذ يكفيه: نعم.
