[حنظ] حَنْظَى به، أي نَدَّدَ به وأسمعَه المكروه والألف للإلحاق بدحرج. وهو رجلٌ حِنْظِيَانٌ، إذا كان فحاشا. وحكى الاموى: رجل خنظيان، بالخاء المعجمة، وخنذيان، أي فحاش. وخنظى به، وخنذى به، وغنظى به، كل يقال بمعنى.
